What You'll Do As our Assistant General Manager/General Manager in Training, you'll be responsible for learning and mastering all aspects of restaurant operations, including:

  • Leading and coaching a team of rockstar employees to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • Assisting the General Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
  • Developing and executing strategies to grow the business and increase profitability
  • Collaborating with our marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives and increase community engagement
  • Exemplifying guest service for the entire team and living the culture of Noodles & Company
  • Owning open, mid, or close routines for the restaurant

What You'll Bring We're looking for an Assistant General Manager/General Manager in Training who's passionate about food, people, and creating a positive work environment. You'll need to have:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic
  • Physical ability to meet the requirements of the position, including walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Previous management or leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant environment
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field, or equivalent experience
